Things went belly-up fast.

“So, how do your abs feel?” Trainer asked as we wrapped up our half-hour session. “Sore?”

“Surprisingly, no,” I replied, feeling proud.

“OK,” he said. “Then let’s go over here and do four more supersets.”

Two hundred additional reps. Right around the 150 mark, he leaned over and said: “Be careful what you wish for from your trainer.”
